What is an adaptation?
An adaptation is an inherited feature or trait that an organism has that enables it to reproduce and survive in it's environment.
They can be:
-Structural--> the physical features of an organism
e.g. size of leaves
-Physiological--> something that the organisms body does
e.g. chlorophyll density
-Behavioural--> the way an organism acts in response to something
e.g. plants growing towards the light source
